Malachi: Keeping God First

The book of Malachi has 55 verses. In 47 verses, God’s broken heart cries out. The God of justice and mercy speaks firmly to His people for the last time. The name that God chose for Himself in Malachi was “Lord Almighty” or “the Lord of the hosts-armies” (used 24x), a military term. Yet, the faithfulness of God was evident in the closing lines of Malachi, as God pointed forward to the promised forerunner.
