Haggai 1-2
Haggai and Zechariah were the 2 prophets God raised up to spur the post-exilic Jewish community to rebuild the temple of Yahweh. The work on the temple had ceased for 16 years due to opposition (see Ezra 4:24-5:5). The book of Haggai contains 4 messages from the Lord over a period of just 4 months.
