Ezekiel: The Sovereign Lord Leaves His Temple

Ezekiel was born in a priestly family. He was deported to Babylon at the time of the 2nd invasion by Nebuchadnezzar (597 BC), 11 years before the final destruction of Jerusalem (586 BC). He was 30 years old when God appeared to him and called him to speak. He prophesied for 22 years while living among the Jewish exiles in Babylon.
