The Heart God is Looking For

Asa was one of the longest reigning, most influential kings in the Southern Kingdom. Since 3 full chapters of the Bible are devoted to his story, we will focus our attention on him. Asa was the model of devotion to the Lord for most of his reign, removing vestiges of idolatry and leading the people to walk in God’s ways. Yet, near the end of his life he faltered in his faith and became the prime example of a man who did not finish well.
