The Supremacy of Christ - Part 4

As the letter moves toward a conclusion, the theme of persevering faith comes into the foreground. The writer will describe the kind of faith that continues to trust God no matter what is happening on earth, and no matter how difficult it becomes to maintain allegiance to Him. A key part of this section is the extended list of examples, from the Old Testament, of people who held fast to their faith in God amidst the varying circumstances of life.
