Spiritual Blessings in Christ

Paul spent many years in Roman prisons because of his testimony that Christ was the promised Jewish Messiah, and the God and Savior of the world. During these years he wrote the prison epistles: Ephesians, Colossians, Philippians and Philemon. Ephesus was the 3rd largest city in the Roman empire, and the leading city of Asia Minor, the richest region of the empire. It was a center for commerce, tourism and a hub of religious ideas. In Acts 19 we read of Paul’s powerful ministry he had in Ephesus.
