Essential Truth

Without doubt, Romans is the most important of Paul’s letters, and arguably the most important of all the New Testament letters. This is Paul’s fullest explanation of the key doctrines of Christianity. given through inspiration from the Holy Spirit. Paul had hoped to visit Rome, after making a final trip to Jerusalem (see 15:22-33 where he explains his travel plans). This letter, sent in advance of his visit, was designed to fully explain the gospel message that he had been preaching since the time of his conversion (see 1:11-15).
