Genesis 26-36
The middle chapters of Genesis trace God’s promise to Abraham (Genesis 12:1-3) as it moves through the chosen line of Isaac and then Jacob. God will fulfill His covenant to build a nation from Abraham’s seed, through which He will bless the whole world. Yet, the descendants of Abraham do not maintain the same level of faith and obedience that Abraham had.
